Electronic sensors will not achieve the resolution of human senses, nor will robotic appendages achieve the dexterity of human hands. Even if they someday do, as long as they remain mechanical they will require constant calibration and maintenance and energy source(s). AI requires tangible agents to do its bidding. The human body is the most efficient utilizer of energy (via calories) and is self repairing to boot. This guy, brilliant as he is, is living in a bubble. He should get out more often.
