i think this is a basic take, and essentially conveyed by this video, but to me, any art of any skill level created by a person will always be better than anything an ai could produce. even if you take an example of, like, a young child’s stick figure version of their family, that has heart. there’s a soul behind it, and a person. any imperfections aren’t the result of a computer regurgitating a host of stolen images and trying to blend them into something recognizable, it’s because maybe their hand shook while they drew it- or they got distracted halfway through by their mom calling them for lunch. to me, that fundamental difference is most apparent to me in any real art v.s. any ai “art”
