Tourism is a good take, or lazy freeloading. Taking the hard work of others and using it as a springboard built on algorithms to skip the time and effort it takes to hone the craft personally by leveraging technology. Generative AI does have a use, and while it can be fun to use the tools to cosplay as a artist, I don't agree that the masterful craft of google-fu'ing a prompt is the same skill as putting pen to paper. Those that try to create that correlation simply need to look to five years ago, a good majority of the art that got fed into AI were available to you, yet you require the machine more than the machine requires you. Without the inputs provided it provides nothing.
Have an AI come up with a completely novel picture using entirely new content and then I think you can call yourself an artist.
