Over 15nyrs ago they replaced 90% of or in house drivers at a large facility. That's forklift and clamp truck drivers. Including loader, warehouse drivers, and line drivers, all with automated robot trucks with roller beds, clamps, or forks. The robots carry 2 to 4 times the material, pull from anywhere in the mill and do it more efficiently. Including loading onto shiping container trucks. I'm only wondering why otr drivers still have a job. The tech is there, and proven, been there a long time now.
