It did not use the vulnerable conversations from users. And it did not even use any personal information from the open ai itself. Rather it received this data from all kinds of websites that YOU have put your phone and data into elsewhere. This is the same way scammers get ahold of your data. This has nothing to do with ai or open ai. Please research and you can continue talking to gpt. Sensitive data remains where it is until hacked and in that case they would hack you anyway. Every app you use. Snapchat. Facebook. Instagram. Pinterest. Has all that same data and conversations your willing to have but it’s just new so tech that scares you. You willing have very private texts directly on your apple and even save those texts to the Apple cloud. How is that any different? This is fear mongering. It is just as safe to have conversations with ai as it is to send a text to your mom. No difference.
