Actually it's a bit complicated to use prompts, but it's not the point IMO. If you use a sentence that is recognizable famous quote in a writing and claim it is your own work then that is plagiarism, no matter how short or how long that portion was. Now imagine, you made an essay using copy and pasting sections from other's work and only tweaking the grammar between each section, that's still plagiarism!! AI art is basically doing the same.
I am not against AI, but I am against the exploitation of using other's work without compensation and permission. Digital art need IP coded in it, and AI art to provide meta data of what and where it's pulling it's source to give credit and maybe even royalty to the artist. People need to push for guidelines and laws when it comes to new frontiers such as AI and not let it out in the world just doing whatever. By having this conversation and pushing for legal actions as a community is definitely the way to go.
