The thing with teslas is that they can have 1 out of the 3 types of autopilots, Basic autopilot, Ehanced autopilot and Full self driving (supervised) Out of these 3 only the FSD autopilot is the smart one the other two are just glorified adaptive cruise control. Limited to highways. whilst FSD runs on proper image data. Most teslas that crash are running Enhanced or basic autopilot hence why it doesnt detect all the obstacles..
