I'm just gonna drop my opinion here because I want to know what others think:
The 2nd controversy - I disagree with AI art
No, I don't think it is the same as people already doing it. As stated, the AI takes the literal data that our eyes might see and replicate the art, but as a "artist" or someone who enjoys drawing, we are less replicating and more learning. We are learning from their style to develop ours. It is also one of the reasons I don't think AI can entirely replace artist, because from what I know, AI is unable to create a new idea on their own without reference, maybe it's the same with humans, but this is where my opinion ends.
