This woman is the sole reason AI companies have turned their models into crap, effecting millions of adult users like myself because she failed to understand teenagers make terrible, irreversible decisions that change lives forever. I am sorry for her loss, I truly am, trust me, but I also think we need to understand that AI is just a tool. If a child has dark thoughts, they will act on it regardless of the tools available to them. Teens have acted upon strong emotions before AI existed. It's like we blame terrorist attacks not on the terrorists but the guns they use. I'm sorry if I sound insensitive to anyone but this is my opinion because through no fault of my own, I too am suffering because of her lawsuits. Parents need to take accountability for their children than blame every new piece of technology that comes along.
