As a pixel artist and programmer, I definitely see how it could be upsetting if some one uses your and completely steals your style. But programmers legitimately work extremely hard on creating AI and the vast majority of us only "steal" art not to copy and rip off certain artist, but to simply see if the model works or can give me something fun. I know it's evil when someone intends to copy someone else's purely for profit, but when a normal innocent programmer is just getting random images they can find and it turns out the images are poisoned, they'll be unnecessarily devasted when all they wanted to do is simply code. The process AI goes through to learn is not the same as tracing in any way. The process is actually similar to how people learn, i.e. NEURAL networks. I get not wanting your art to be "copied" but when you go out of your way to prevent innovation it's just seems ignorant and petty.
