Nah, she and other board members were okay burning OpenAI to the ground just because they were losing authority to oversee the company. Not only that, but they were also adamant that GPT-3/4 is so dangerous that it should never be made public.
So, if things worked out according to them, ChatGPT would have never been made, they would have destroyed the company, and we wouldn't be as close to developing AGI as we are now.
