Okay so I do have a genuine question in regards to the second "artist" that got called out, because something that confused me. Is his using of AI (besides the general AI=Bad) as an assisting tool the problem or just the fact he didn't disclose it? Because (possible hypocrisy loading... sorry) personally AI as a tool, (how it should be being used in all areas it is available not just art imo) not to replace the full process doesn't seem *that* bad as long as it's not pulling from private use works, but not disclosing "hey I am great at character design, and here's the proof I did that work, but while I'm still learning backgrounds as an artist I used AI to finish off the piece to save some time and cut a few hours of the process down" seems problematic. Is it the whole usage or just the doubling down and not being honest about it?
