I get Ryan’s point, but there were approximately 390 rear-end collision motorcycles deaths in 2020 (7% of motorcycle fatalities) not related to autonomous driving. The problem is, as it always has been, humans behind the wheel not paying attention. I want to see the pressure put on to make self-driving better, but scrapping it in favor of going back to full human control is shortsighted and will lead to more deaths in my opinion
