8:50 There are a few intrinsic problems with AI art, but in regards to the fact that unlike photography it is not tending to differentiate itself from digital art I say this is due to the fact that, at present, generative ai in virtually all respects has been created or at least put to use maliciously. It was never designed to be a means of making art, except perhaps by an eager developer looking to test their creation. Rather, it’s been put into place as a way to bait and fool people, to cheat artists and to make production of games and other media cheaper at the cost of their soul. It won’t ever differentiate itself from digital art when it’s actively being pushed to replace it
