The problem is that when all the white-collar jobs (with high earnings) disappear and no new ones are created (since AI will rationalize away the even before they ever existed) there will be no demand for the blue-collar jobs. No office buildings needing repair, no wealthy bankers wanting a new kitchen or pool, no tax revenue to pay for government spending on blue-collar-services. And secondly, all the academics that are highly skilled in learning fast and precise will learn many simple jobs in a few weeks causing a massiv oversupply of blue-collar workers parallel with a decrease in demand. Third, automated robotics will unfortunately replace ALSO all blue-collar workers. Like electricians, plumbers, builders, et c. So no, it is NOT the feature. At least not if you want to earn money. It is pretty clear that the whole economic system will need a total makeover....the liberal economic model as we know it ...will cease to exist when human knowledge and human knowhow no longer have a value on the market. The thing with AI is the time factor. Its evolution is faster than the speed of light.
