Actually, I see a boom in graphic designers that do not have qualifications though that could mean the job market will become more competitive as open-source softwares have lowered the barrier to entry. AI still requires a human prompt engineer to steer it and it can’t achieve nuances to serve very specific stylistic needs like a graphic designer with a portfolio. Graphic design school is cooked, not good graphic designers. It has always been businesses that require graphic designers and not your average Joe.
