I know it was a bit after his passing, but it really felt like after Kim Jung Gi passed, all this AI stuff started popping up all over media and taking over the conversation. It was like this turning point in the contrast of hard work and dedication and love of the craft to all of this all of a sudden. Hopefully there will be more regulation put in place and credibility to the legitimacy of artwork. Though it seems like making physical pieces, showing the process, and building communities where you share your process and struggles is where it’s gonna go towards.
Also Merry Christmas to those who celebrate. Hope you continue your art journeys out there despite any dips in the road or cautionary signs and detours. 🎅🏽
