West... they are nomads... but use all the services of the sate... education, health, shop in nearby town... move 2 times a year winter and summer... move to place better for their goats... to grass.. they live a lot like they have done for humdreds if years... maybe a thousand or more... does not seem AI will affect them much as they have chosen that lifestyle over town life... their jids go to school... services are such as health, hospitals, kids vacinations... ... I worked in East Africa for years... people still live in villages... use charcoal for cooking... build their own mud huts.. some now have running water, few... some have solar panels for electricity... many do... not a choise, like the nomads in Iran... but both are it seems to me not going to be much affected ie job replacement by AI... Now lets go to the other end of the spectrum... Russia selfsufficient in most, but take food... lots of land for agriculture grow food or for cows, chickens ... food has to be transported to cities... ... again seems they wont be much affected by AI danger of joblessness... in fact Russia has a many chiildren family policy they need more people for all that land... etc etc.... It seems to me you are only looking at what you think might happen to the Western and by that only some western countries... with large cities... but the world is much bigger and more diversified... Now take f. example Burkina Faso... where the new government has thrown out the French... so they are now taking onwer the mine.. production and sales... they are introducing free education for all kids... better health.. profits stay in the cuntry used to improve life conditions for all.... like ALL... ...... I am nnow 84... I remember when we had no TV... when I bought my fis´rst mobile... when I heard first time of households having a computer (I thought NUTS !!!)... now what would I do without my computer... or even mobile... !!! I was working many years in Africa without these things... but when I worked in Eastern Asia 10 years later... I used these in my job as a social worker starting social programs in Indonesia, Viet Nam etc etc... the communication was faster ... without I would not have been able to do as much as I did... ...... So Yes everything can be used and misused... ..... And maybe our species will die out... that is our presence on this Earth... but then souls don't die... only bodies do... we will find another way ... in a different frm likely and different place in space !!!! .....
