My input as an artist for that past ten years and aiming to go into an art industry: The intent and time are the key reasons why AI art sucks. 10 years it took me to develop the skills I have now (which will continue to evolve, because I am a human person and my tastes and skills change). The problem is that it took a long time and a lot of hard work to make something that some idiot on the internet will think looks kind of cool, but what if it wasn't this persons hard work at all? What if I put this and their other work into a generator to do what they do in 5 seconds? Using other peoples art to learn and grow is essential to FINDING YOUR OWN STYLE not to steal it.
