My view is simple. I use AI Art to make images of my characters for my home game. I have no talent to do it myself, and no money to pay an artist for soemthing for personal use. I DO NOT use AI to illustrate a book that I am then going to sell, that would be profiting off someone else's hard work, and would basically be wrong.
