The problem I see with leading with job loss is that the solutions are potentially very different from how we solve extinction risk.
E.g. job loss doesn’t necessarily mean pause AI, it could be to plan for universal basic income, or for employers / govs / independent insurance companies to offer insurance to sectors of the industry that might soon have jobs eliminated.
