What AI will do, is make humans indifferent towards starving or dying humans. In near future, billions of human deaths will be regarded as a natural scene, just a lot younger and faster. I wouldn't worry about rich getting richer because by then, the poor will gang up and unalive all the richest people in the world just like French Revolution. By then, unaliving everyone you deem not worth living will be a normal trend while AI continues to keep our society moving.
