Please stop saying ai programs understand things. I’m sure it is a useful shorthand but I think it is leads to self-deception. It is an excellent simulation but it is still only simulation. It makes it easier to pour all this energy down the drain answering inane questions and making decisions we are too idle to do for ourselves. This wouldn’t need to be a problem if it came from renewables but much still comes from nonrenewables.
