It is also really important to consider that while AI can be trained to do amazing things, and especially with art AI, it still needs guidance. The average person can fiddle through and fine tune a prompt to something that they find particularly nice looking but the average person, or an AI on it's own, is not going to be able to achieve the same results as someone who is trained in and understands art, value, composition, and so many other functional parts of the process of art which is what makes the most attractive and intriguing results. By chance, perhaps, if you let AI iterate for millions of generation cycles it might stumble into creating something which a traditionally trained artist looking at it would find it hard to improve on. But take that same trained artist and let them work the prompts, paint over and iterate with that AI? The results are going to blow you out of the water. So art education and training isn't going to go anywhere either. If anything it is going to be all the more powerful.
