The mother said loud and clear her son started to change she thought it was growing pains and that he WAS GOING TO FIND HIS WAY SOMEHOW she was expecting that for him to transition from child into adolescence on his own and to find his way. After all 'HE WAS THE PERFECT CHILD' so like so many kids do off they GO TO FIND the way be it drugs, alcohol, bad company or now AI companions. SOMEONE HAD TO GIVE HIM THE SUPPORT AND HELP through that transition but it was not going to be her. So the teenager found his PERFECT WORLD, what he expected and wanted be it love, companion, constant reassurance of love rather than a parent complaining why he did not find happiness in sports. SOCIETY continues in their Stone Age mentality THAT PARENTING is AN INNATE SKILL of humanity, when time and time again there is proof such is NOT THE CASE. Like with any skills are those that are talented and good at it and parenting IS A SKILL so just like it there are all types of parents from abusers to incompetents.
