AI is overhyped. It’s been around for decades. But it always has the same problem: it depends in training and can’t really get new ideas. It can only interpolate, not extrapolate… won’t fill up my washing machine either… I don’t see AI build houses and so on… and AI is power hungry and there aren’t even enough power plants for ev cars and btc mining so… I don’t see all humans relplaced by AI not to mention all the mistakes it makes. When I asked chatgpt for the time it was off by one hour because he didn’t take the winter time in consideration, can’t even calculate a simple CRC in a CAN message (all simple math) and so on… but CEOs are not tech savvy and will make stupid moves. It will disturb the market but eventually. AI will be a simple tool for human jobs like robots in factories. And if you need robots, you create people to make robots, repair then, build energy plants to feed robots, and so on…
