We don't know, if and when agi will be developed. But currently the ai is transforming all industries, where thinking is/was important. Now let's just imagine, that the bigger part of the global work force is unemployed and is not able to sustain capitalism due to lack of income. The states will not be able to feed so many unemployed people abd to sustain capitalism, because no one is able to buy stuff. What will happen next? What are all the finacially poor and unemployed people going to do? I really hope, that I am missing something, but such a world won't need so many humans to sustain itself... this might lead us to deadly viruses or war to "correct" the ratio between productive and unproductive people.
