Honestly, when I started drawing, it was only because I had so many ideas that I wanted to see outside my mind. When I saw the drawings, I was so ecstatic. My sister was a very good artist at the time, so I was trying to get as good as her. She supported me in my art journey. Then in high school, I had a best friend that would constantly say that my drawings were so bad and hers were just better. I didn't like it, but I had grown such confidence in my artistic skills that I would just shut her off. Plus, my art teachers were constantly saying exactly the opposite. If I didn't have so many great people in my life making me more confident, I could have stopped. My heart bleeds for all the people that got shut down so early on in their art journey, and I hope that this whole AI vs Artists situation makes more people just try again.
