I used to be on board with the idea of AI art for the sole purpose of reference material and getting a different take on a concept other than my own.
But it really has done a lot more harm that good. I think it should 100% be illegal. It replaces jobs that are already incredibly competitive, and that is not just or fair.
The arts should be untouched by AI period.
