I'm old enough to remember people using the "it creates the art for you!" argument in regards to digital art. And then we realised art program is just a different kind of art tool, and it's not easy to use at all.
HAVING THAT SAID, AI literally uses other art to learn how to create its own art. If anyone should own the copyright to the pieces this guy "makes", it's the tool. It's not the same.
BUT. The arguments stay the same. And it sucks.
