This is exactly what I always have believed and something that really makes me angry when someone says things like those comments did. The worst part is them continuing to tell others that traditional art is “talent” not only does that make artists new to the process of art feel like they could never live up to it, it also personally attacks all artists by telling them they didn’t work for something they spent their whole lives learning. It’s sad. The fact that ai is around is ok and sure it can do some cool things, everyone has their own opinion on it but there should never be a time when your opinion should be able to attack someone as deeply as telling them they were born with this when they worked so hard for it. Somewhere out there someone saw that comment and stopped. They stopped creating, be that writing, drawing, playing, anything they looked at that and thought “ oh, I’m nowhere near as good, was I not born with it? What’s really the point if ai can do it?” Right there someone’s life changed, someone out there was destroyed by that. You think whatever you want but if what you think is that other people don’t deserve to live a life they worked for because your only going to look at the surface of their life and call them born with it I don’t want to hear your opinion right now. That doesn’t mean you can have your opinion, do what you want, like I said, but personally I don’t want you to share that opinion with others if it could hurt them. Thank you for reading!
