Artificial and alien intelligence are, and should for clarity in our semantics should be, two separate things. There are extraterresterial alien civilizations such as the one on the Sirius A and B Star system, at least according to the lowly Dr. Carl Sagan and other mainstream experts. Artificial Intelligence are the species of genetic computer beings, and highly advanced non-genetic computer beings, that we create. Now, this A.I. can and will be able to communicate with humans perhaps even profoundly; and can participate to some extent in collective consciousnesses; but the mineralogical nature of its artificial genetics will be so different from the human genome, far more than Homo Sapiens and Neanderthals who interbred on a large scale, that interbreeding will probably, really quite presumably not take place for the foreseeable future.
