I'm no genius but I have a good enough imagination to have understood that our society isn't ready or able to deal with AI. Every single major sci-fi movie has warned about it for decades. How these "smart" people seem surprised by the destruction they helped bring about is astonishing. I don't believe it. These guys that developed AI KNEW they were doing something very destructive to a society that clearly is not ready for it's impacts. Again I am no genius and ALL of this seemed like it was obvious. I just want one of them to be honest. They did this for money and ego and now it's all our problem.
