I will never be uplifted or repaired by some AI god. There are two reasons: it's what I've always wanted, and I'm cursed. When animals suffer and can't be helped, the moral thing to do is to humanely put them to sleep. Maybe AI would do that for me. It's funny how low the bar gets for what you want to see and do before you die when every single day gets more hopeless than the last.
