Why do you think nobody asks that question? That is quite naturally the main and most quality use of llms. It has been widely accessed and you can test it, few days after you reach for something "original" you can observe how that model comes out with "your" answer more often in many conversations without direct prompting, i.e. it learns to answer with such references. Many people do this, chat gpt 4.0 says 1 in 1000. So it is not rare.
