Could a major EMP detonation to destroy the global grids now or in the near future be our only hope to set back or stop AI? Or ironically could nuclear war be humanity's only chance? Most of us would die but millions will survive and humankind will continue. AI could be existential and kill everyone of us. We might need to take the lesser of two terrible evils?
