Stage 4 or any further stages can't happen with the way current AI's are trained, since those only generate the most predictable outcome, and do not actually have any "reasoning" in the way sentient beings do. This is required for artistic, academic, and many other job categories. This also means these AIs can't become better than humans, since it's only trained on what humans do.
