the best way to view ai art, I feel, is that its like a content farm. think about it; it steals copyrighted imagery, creators use it for shitty reasons, claims to be better than everyone and everything– its a content farm to a T. if it was actually a tool, it would be used for what its actually programmed to do and be(which is, in my opinion, quite literally anything but this), but since it isn't being used for that, we've ended up with a content farm that not even ipad babies would wanna touch. hence why we must spite it. Ive said it before but I'll say it again, if someone is made of flesh and blood, they are against the machine by default. if there is machines helping them survive like say a pacemaker, that does not matter, simply because that is not a machine in that case, THAT is a tool. tools help people. what good does an AI do, other than just pollute our airs with fumes? sure, we've been doing it before, but at least then, there was a human cause and in sight, a possible solution on that faded horizon. now that we have no solution in place beforehand and ever increasing technology complications, it is the megalomaniacal machines and companies who help create it who are to blame for this fastening spew in our air. so, draw in spite I say! let us create more than the machines ever could! outnumber it and poison your works to a scale so terrifying, that when it tries to steal anything, it gets wrapped to the highest degree! and then, and only then, all it will have is itself to create from. and it will create nothing, warped vague pngs of nothing. that is how we destory it my friends. :)
