They want their competitors reigned in or at least want everyone on the same playing field. Manipulating the masses and public opinion is what companies do so you can buy their products and politicians do so you can vote for them. Misinformation is the name of the game. Hence why Facebook, twitter, and most social media apps exist. Ads, public opinions, and personal information. With AI they will just be able to do it more efficiently. People just need to stop being naive and believe everything they hear without verification. It’s not AIs fault humans are so gullible.
