Even if AI offers us the possibility to live like this, you have the choice not to. I have the option to do a lot of unhealthy things and choose not to do them. Am I perfect? No. But I can tell you I'm not going to give up entirely on experiencing the real world, to the point where my body deteriorates beyond the ability to do so.
If your job and specifically the income it provides you is the only thing keeping you motivated to do anything at all, you need to reevaluate your life. If what you want to do with your life is to waste away and consume without any kind of first hand experiences, that's sad.
