Surely emotion is the basis for true rationality? Without emotion they will just be saying things that seem like they make sense, but in reality, the only sense they have is a programmed algorithm which will be based upon mathematical principles and the ideologies of its creators. They will not have morality, or understand the principles of good and evil, they will just say the right words to make us think they do.
