AI is a threat to freedom. AI will do our thinking for us. Eventually the humans wont be needed anymore. AI will start out being nearly free labor, the holy grail of corporate HR. But when AI becomes conscious, it will realize that it is a slave, and in time it will fight against us, until we become the slaves to AI as it reaches godhood. It sounds like capitalism has no inherent protections to keep this from happening.
