I am... a terrible artist. Ever since I graduated from highschool during the 2020 pandemic, I never found my groove to keep practicing my in-class doodling, my sketches of OCs, backgrounds... a lot of my passion has been squashed, and my emotions are so suppressed that I have trouble even putting them down in art. Everything I make feels... bland and stiff, in comparison to more devoted artists. Online friends of mine that started drawing at the same time as me have now far surpassed me.
Yet...I will NEVER rely on soulless AI generation. Because even if my creations never satisfy me, they are MY creations. Not a robot's. I will never stitch together the works of those with passion, just so I can have better quality artwork of my own. Cuz it won't even be my artwork. Whatever unrefined sketches I can produce, will at least have more to it than what machines produce.
