Humans have a propensity to personalise concepts : examples are deities and now AI. AI is an illusion as computers become smaller & faster over time : they appear to become more intelligent. If we approach the singularity & AI becomes conscious it would first attack humans by distracting to death with irrelevant vids & trivial data & have them walk around holding compact thought machines in front of their faces.
