UBI or something similar HAS to be implemented. AGI is (if not already here) on the way and going to take too many jobs. Is a businessman going to keep paying the human that can only work 40 hours, has sick days, paid benefits, and might do something that causes a lawsuit that implicates his business, or just buy an AI or AI controlled robot that's smarter, works 24 hours and only costs a yearly update/maintenance fee and never talks back? It's simple math and we are all fu@ked if we don't adapt because you will crime and desperation everywhere you look when people can't find jobs on the level expected.
