10:45 So you are basing your life preferences as the human standard for us all to follow? Because when you say "other things like what?!" You're saying that talking to people drawing and idk writing a 300 line essay is what we live to do, and we should not try to escape the liability without facing the consequences of irresponsibility? If back in my high school days we had ai I wouldn't have had to write 12 pages about canyons for my geography homework as a computer science student instead of learning a new programming language or experimenting with robotic chips, if the educational system is rigged and inefficient AND the big chairs doesn't profit from bettering it therefore refuses to, then finding loopholes to cheat the system isn't really as bad as it sounds. You see, criminal activity is not necessarily "evil". If you live in a 3rd world country you'll meet good criminals and really terrible "lawful citizens". And just because I said I'm in computer science I don't want you to think I'm siding with ai over humans that'd be ridiculous. I myself am an artist and been drawing for like 12 years now, but it is a HOBBY for me not A FULL TIME JOB and that's by choice, why in capital you might ask? Well, the art industry has been overshadowed by "draw and paint and that's art" kind of artists, I'm not against drawing don't get confused but I think that everyone who's got a little magic in their finger nowadays are calling themselves an artist and eventually they try to make it their JOB. Now art varies in quality and that's the key problem, the art industry had such an inflation because of "art commissions" and now people are justified for selling a 20Mb png file for 400$ ?? Not only that good art has become overpriced to command, but it also allowed "intermediate" at best artists to charge you 20$ for something that your 8yo could've made and maybe could've made it better? How did it happen? Artists were free to sell their art for as much as they wanted because well, they made that so they'll force a "buy or bye" policy on the customer, and slowly with the lack of limitations everything caught flames, until ai. Now since ai generators require a fixed price paid subscription, I has sat up some competition to the real thing. This competition might look horrible at first because you poured your heart and soul into that drawing only to get 4 likes and 12 shares then you find a 300K likes ai copy of it and you get no credit. That's completely true and sucks to be. But in the other hand, when the consumer thinks they'd rather give their money to YOU to draw their prompt instead of the Ai, that means that your art has "beaten" the ai, it is better than the ai and it is WORTH spending the money you demand for it which will definitely be more than what the ai costs. So yeah before starting a rebellion against ai, think of it as a ground setter for the minimum quality required in the art market. Since you can protect your art from being fed to it that should lower the odds of having it steal from you. Also with a base line being set, people will have to calculate it into their life decisions such as their career, you won't find as much "dreamers" who'd pick drawing as their main job then struggle for the rest of their lives because of a decision they made when they were 14 - 18yo especially that they could've had the potential of shining in other fields. Also ai is rapidly evolving and soon will adapt to the "poison" you try to feed into it rendering it pointless. Best thing to do when you find a way to protect your art from ai is to keep it a secret as that "protection" is but an error, a bug in the ai scanning and reading for the image so when you share it and it becomes public and well known it will quickly get fixed because the big cooperations makes money from that ai and if it fails it'll cost them more than what they'd spend on developing a bypass or a fix. Thanks for reading and since you reached the end I'd like you to considerably read all over again but this time with your "attack" mode turned off, zoom out and process the idea in itself instead of allowing your mind to constantly generate "comeback" for every line you read that you're going to reply to this comment with after you're done reading.
