The future is machine software fabrication. Over the next decade software will reach a level of sophistication and complexity that is far beyond the reach of human programmers. AI's will be creating, refactoring, maintaining and disposing of millions (billions, trillions) of effective lines of human source code on a daily basis. It's time we embrace this inconvenient probability or fall behind those who already have.
