I’m an English teacher and I’ve noticed recently that it has become increasingly obvious when a student has used AI to do their writing for them. It’ll produce sentences with grammar that sounds like a PhD candidate wrote it but with a string of three or four of the most effusive adjectives. Instead of sounding analytical it sounds like it’s heaping praise on something. As the AI has gotten more “sophisticated” it has become more un-human.
