I think humans have to understand that it's time to go back to skilled work. Things that can be done only with human hands. For now at least those jobs will be safe. Last year myself I got my welding certification and I took up farming and this year bee keeping, I come from a traditional academic background. it was not easy to open up myself to these new areas but I am soo happy I did. I don't see an AI that can run my farm... yet hahaha. Change with the times and grow towards the future. Writers need to wake up and understand the gravy train is over. Diversify your income and explore other avenues to express your creativity. Maybe write for audiobooks instead of tv, teach writing courses for amateur writers or kids, get creative.
