I'd rather talk to an AI. I don't need an overprivileged narcissistic therapist who glosses over SA and child abuse and self inserts to relate things back to her again.
People are turning to AI because humans are horrible at helping other people. Most people are no emotionally intelligent or have the capacity to help a traumatized person. So many people are fair weather friends and per r/therapyabuse, too many therapists are kicking people who are already down.
If humans actually practiced being good, compassionate people, we wouldn't be here.
